Mad Anthonys Children’s Hope House (MACHH) is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of their third home, located on the Dupont Hospital campus in the 2510 Medical Office Building. Construction will complete in mid-July of 2019 and will be open shortly thereafter.
This house will be open to families of children receiving medical care in any Fort Wayne area hospital and will boast four private rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a seating area, laundry facilities, and community bathrooms. These suites will act as an extension of the hospitality services MACHH has provided at their Lutheran Hospital location since 2003 and will offer families with sick or injured children in any Fort Wayne area hospital a safe and comfortable place during a medical emergency.
Chris Dubes, Board President for Mad Anthonys Children’s Hope House commented, “The Hope House is proud to announce its expansion to the Dupont Hospital campus, and we are excited for the opportunity to aid additional families through this expansion. We look forward to working with Dupont Hospital to provide a home away from home for families in need while their loved ones are in the hospital.
“The Dupont Difference is a magical way to serve our community with the utmost respect, dignity, and empathy. With our new Dupont Hope House, it further validates our level of support to our community. The Dupont Hope House will be an everlasting joy to many families to come.” shared Lorenzo Sutter, CEO of Dupont Hospital.
This renovation of the medical office space at Dupont Hospital is made possible through a grant from the McMillen Foundation, Shawnee Construction, Dupont Hospital, Williams Electronics and the Mad Anthonys Children’s Foundation.
