Posted in: Uncategorized

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (September 16, 2020)Mad Anthonys Children’s Hope House (MACHH), a caring place for families of critically ill children, announced today that Northwestern Mutual of Fort Wayne, a financial services company, has committed to a 3-year sponsorship of a guest room at the Mad Anthonys Children’s Hope House at Dupont Hospital. Room sponsorship helps to underwrite the associated costs of providing overnight accommodations to families displaced by pediatric or neonatal medical emergencies. Relationships like these allow MACHH to remain true to their mission of providing support to families regardless of their ability to pay.

“When families realize that they can stay with us at no cost, they breathe a sigh of relief. With Northwestern Mutual – Fort Wayne’s long-term commitment, families will be sensing this relief for years to come,” said Melissa Dessaigne, Executive Director.

“My wife, Tami, and I spent several weeks at Children’s Hope House after our triplets were born prematurely,” said Matt Henry, Managing Director of Northwestern Mutual – Fort Wayne. “It was our home away from home, a place that provided comfort and support. We’re proud to help extend this hospitality to other families, especially those facing financial barriers.”
