Hope has a home
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Updates
As COVID-19 has spread locally, several precautionary measures have been taken at the House to sustain our operations for as long as possible. In the midst of this ever-changing situation, the Executive Committee, with support of the Board of Directors and Hospital staff, has decided to temporarily close the Houses to any new families. This is not a decision that has been made lightly as we know that pediatric and neonatal emergencies will continue to take place regardless of the virus.
Our current guests at both Lutheran and Dupont will continue staying with 24/7 House access until their child goes home. The Houses have been stocked with Grab & Go snacks, breakfast items, and individual dinner options.
These are incredibly challenging circumstances with no easy answers, and it is our hope that we will be able to return to normal as soon as possible! In the meantime, we remain committed to serving our families even when they are not at the House. We are so grateful for your continued support to our mission and families.
Stay safe. Stay healthy. And most importantly, stay Hopeful!
